Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Puzzle Chest Quest ("the App", "our App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the App on devices you own or control
• Use the App for your personal, non-commercial entertainment
• Access all features and content within the App

Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the App
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our permission
• Distribute, sell, rent, or lease the App to third parties
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to hack, exploit, or compromise the App's security

Intellectual Property

The App and all content, features, riddles, artwork, graphics, and functionality are owned by Puzzle Chest Quest and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Inspiration: While the game mechanic draws inspiration from classic word lock puzzles, all riddles, content, and implementation in Puzzle Chest Quest are original works.

User Content and Data

Your game progress (solved chests, collected loot, statistics) is stored locally on your device and is your personal data. We do not collect, access, or have any rights to this data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Payment and Refunds

Puzzle Chest Quest is a one-time purchase available through the Apple App Store.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or bug-free
• Warranties regarding accuracy or completeness of content

We strive to provide a polished, bug-free experience, but we cannot guarantee the App will work perfectly on all devices or iOS versions.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PUZZLE CHEST QUEST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid for the App

Device Requirements

Puzzle Chest Quest requires:

• iOS 17.0 or later
• Compatible iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
• Approximately 50MB of available storage

You are responsible for ensuring your device meets these requirements. The App may not function properly on unsupported devices or iOS versions.

Updates and Changes

We may release updates to the App to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. Updates may be:

• Provided free of charge through the App Store
• Installed automatically if you have auto-updates enabled
• Optional, though we recommend keeping the App updated

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time, though as a fully offline game, existing installations will continue to work.

Third-Party Services

The App uses only Apple's native iOS frameworks and does not integrate with any third-party services. Your use of Apple's services (App Store, iOS) is governed by Apple's terms and policies.

Children's Use

Puzzle Chest Quest is rated 4+ and is safe for users of all ages. Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their children's use of the App. Since we don't collect any data, there are no privacy concerns for children under 13 (or any age).

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Apple's App Store terms where applicable.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may terminate or suspend your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, all rights granted to you will immediately cease. Your local game data will remain on your device until you delete the App.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Puzzle Chest Quest regarding use of the App.
